Who & What

The New England Calvary Chapel School of Ministry
(NECCSoM) has been formed as an intentional way to strengthen & support the Calvary Chapels of New England & to assist in raising up the next generation of church planters missionaries, pastors, and other staff here in New England and Lord willing, across the country and around the world.
NECCSoM is a two year program located at participating New England Calvary Chapels that is both academic and practical believing that ministry can be both taught while sitting in a class and caught while serving in a church.
NECCSoM is unique in how it delivers this experience with each participating Calvary Chapel serving as a hub live learning & living out what was learned. Students attend classes at their own churches.
The vision for NECCSoM is for it to be a place that supports Calvary Chapels in the present and supplies servants to Calvary Chapels in the future.
WHY A SCHOOL OF MINISTRY IN NEW ENGLAND?
The six state New England region is home to about 15 million people and about 30 Calvary Chapels. That means there is a Calvary Chapel for every 500,000 people in the New England states. Most of the Calvary Chapels in New England would be considered small to medium size churches, some with bi-vocational pastors.
While Calvary Chapel is not the only church or movement trying to reach the region, New England continues to be one of the least evangelized, least church regions in all of the USA. Once the hotbed revivals that fired the nation, it has become a region of post-Christian, post-modern, and secular values.
The need is great, the workers are few. The New England Calvary Chapel School of Ministry wants to do its part in assisting New England Calvary Chapels educate believers, raise up Christian within the local congregations and send out church planters. We believe God will do again what He has done in the past and bring renewal and revival to New England in these last days.
